The Shippensburg University men's soccer team lost 2-1 on Saturday at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division opponent Shepherd.
Shippensburg (4-7-3, 1-6 PSAC East) tied the match early in the second half when freshman
Ashton Davies scored in the 49th minute. Trailing 2-1 in the final minute, a yellow card by a Ram in the box sophomore
Seth Crabbe to the line for a penalty kick, but the attempt was saved by the Rams' Billy Wood.
Shepherd (2-13, 1-8 PSAC East) took the lead with 10 minutes left in the first half on a goal by Carlos Castillo. With less than two minutes remaining, Abdelrahman Elmasry put Shepherd ahead. Wood made five saves for the Rams.
Freshman
Ryan Glenlast was credited with four saves for the Raiders.
Shippensburg will host East Stroudsburg at 7 p.m. Wednesday at David See Field.
