2021 (Junior): Appeared in 14 games and made 14 starts as a defender and midfielder…scored two goals and assisted on the game-winning goal in a career-high five-point performance at conference opponent East Stroudsburg…registered another assist against Bloomsburg…totaled nine shots, converting two of his three shots on goal…ranked third on the team in points…contributed to a defense that allowed one goal or less in four matches.  
 
2020 (Junior): No season due to COVID-19 pandemic.
 
2019 (Sophomore): Started the final seven matches of the year in his second season…registered an assist against conference opponent Shepherd…contributed to a defense that limited the opposition to one goal or less in four matches...totaled five shots, of which two were on goal.
 
2018 (Freshman): Made an immediate impact for the Raiders as a midfielder in his debut season…appeared in 15 matches, making 10 starts…scored his first collegiate goal in a home victory over Shepherd on his lone shot on goal of the season.
 
Boonsboro High School: Totaled four varsity letters for the Warriors under coaches Roy Rickerds, Cory Matheny and Mike Long…played club soccer for FC Frederick and ’99 Premier under coaches Bo Eskay and Chris Spinks…received All-State honorable mention as a senior…named to the All-Frederick County and All-Central Maryland Conference (CMC) First Team squads as a senior…scored eight goals in his high school career.
 
About Petty: Full name is Alexander Patrick Petty…is the son of James Petty and Clare Patrick…majoring in biology with a pre-pharmacy concentration while seeking minors in biochemistry and mathematics…has two brothers, Elliot and Benjamin Petty.
