Box Score The Shippensburg University women's tennis team began its Spring Break excursion in Orlando on Sunday morning with its first match of spring championship season, dropping a 6-1 decision to Bentley at the USTA National Campus.

Sophomore
Kayla Tryanski won her match at No. 4 singles. She won the first set, 6-4, dropped the second set, 4-6, but won the tiebreaker 10-3 to claim the victory.

Freshmen
Maddy Reeves and
Paige Simons each battled in their respective singles matches. Reeves won seven games at No. 2 singles and Simons claimed nine games at No. 3 singles, dropping a 6-4, 7-5 decision.

Sophomore
Jenna Sluymer and Reeves won four games at No. 1 doubles in a competitive match. Senior
Kendall Geis won three games at No. 5 singles in her debut.

Shippensburg will face Immaculata at 8 a.m. Monday.
