The Shippensburg University women's soccer team was defeated Sunday afternoon by host Lock Haven, 2-0, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup from the Stern Athletic Complex.
Shippensburg (5-2-0, 4-2-0 PSAC) managed just two shots on goal against Lock Haven (4-2-1, 4-2-1), while the Bald Eagles recorded 14 shots on goal. SU did achieve five corner kicks, including three in the second half.

Delaney Shifflett made 12 saves – including nine in the first half. In her last two matches, Shifflett has totaled 26 saves. Her 53 saves through seven matches rank second in the PSAC.
The Bald Eagles got both of their goals from Haleigh Swam. The opening goal came in the 29th minute off a deflection, and the clincher came in the 73rd minute off a through ball.
