Shippensburg (4-1) scored three times in the first 30 minutes of Monday's match and maintained a 3-0 advantage into halftime. Goldey-Beacom (1-6) countered with two goals in the first five minutes of the second half, but the Lightning could not achieve an equalizer despite a 7-0 shot advantage after the intermission.
