Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match Against Bloomsburg in Florida, 9-0

SU wins games in all of its singles and doubles matches

Results vs. Bloomsburg

The Shippensburg University women's tennis team faced fellow divisional mate Bloomsburg in a non-conference matchup Tuesday in Orlando, with the Raiders dropping a 9-0 decision to the Huskies on a pleasant evening from the USTA campus.
 
The pairing of sophomore Daisy Rundio and junior Kaylin Gallagher won three games at No. 2 doubles. Sophomore Catherine Miller and junior Gabbie Binder won a game at No. 1 doubles, while juniors Victoria Galanti and Megan Moorhead won two games at No. 2 doubles.
 
In singles play, Rundio won six games in the No. 4 flight, falling 2-6, 4-6. All six Raiders won at least two singles games, with Gallagher winning five games in the No. 3 flight in a 2-6, 3-6 setback.
 
"The ladies today managed to get games in every single match they competed in, furthering their efforts," head coach Lindsey Tennis said of her squad.

Shippensburg is scheduled to face Dallas Baptist Wednesday evening.
