Women's Basketball to Hold "Play With Hart" Day, Alumni Day on Sat., Feb. 17

SU will raise funds toward Four Diamonds on an eventful day at Heiges


The Shippensburg University women's basketball team will be hosting "Play With Hart" Day at its Saturday, Feb. 17 home game against Mansfield in addition to having its Alumni Game that morning as a part of a full day of activities inside Heiges Field House.

The exciting day features the following events:

Women's Basketball Alumni Game (10 AM)
The Shippensburg University women's basketball team welcomes back all alumni, including all those interested in competing in the annual Alumni Game, which begins at 10 a.m. from Heiges Field House.
 
Women's Basketball vs. Mansfield (1 PM)
Shippensburg will host the Mountaineers in a key PSAC East matchup with playoff ramifications. Come on out and support the Raiders!

Silent Auction (during women's game)
The Shippensburg University women's basketball team will be conducting a silent auction in which several gift baskets will be available. All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the Four Diamonds Foundation in the name of Megan Hart, SU junior field hockey player currently battling leukemia. 

Field Hockey Championship Ceremony (Halftime)
The members of the 2017 Shippensburg University field hockey team will be recognized during a halftime ceremony. The Jane Goss Perseverance Award is also scheduled to be presented at halftime.
 
Final Four Raffle Announcement
During the day, the winner of the NCAA Final Four raffle will be announced. Raffle tickets are still available from each team, with the prize being a trip to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championships!

Men's Basketball vs. Mansfield (3 PM)
The SU men's team rounds out the day with a key home game against the Mountaineers.
