SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University head women's basketball coach
Kristy Trn has confirmed the recruitment of six student-athletes who have each agreed to attend the university and will suit up for the Raider women's basketball program for the 2026-27 season.
"I am looking forward to working with this talented young group and I expect their impact to be immediate for our program," stated Trn.
The recruiting class, consisting entirely of incoming freshmen, features two frontcourt players and four guards. Four of the newcomers are in-state recruits, while two hail from Virginia.
Alainah McKavish, a guard from Clarke County High School in Virginia, is coming off a season in which she was named the state's Class 2A Player of the Year.
