SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to visiting West Chester on Wednesday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchup on a sunny day at the Robb Sports Complex Tennis Courts.
Shippensburg (3-6, 1-1 PSAC East) won six games in doubles and 11 games in singles – the latter total of which equals the Raiders' output against the Golden Rams from the last two years combined.

Emilie Luttman and sophomore
Kaylin Gallagher battled at No. 2 doubles, dropping an 8-4 decision. Freshmen
Madeline Carson and
Daisy Rundio won two games at No. 3 doubles.
Carson won four games at No. 4 singles, dropping a 6-3, 6-1 decision. Rundio claimed three games at No. 6 singles and Gallagher won twice at No. 5 singles. Freshman
Catherine Miller captured a game in each set at No. 1 singles.
West Chester (12-2, 4-0) continued its excellent season and clinched a PSAC Tournament berth with the win.
Shippensburg has a big weekend ahead, traveling to face Bloomsburg on Saturday (3 PM) and East Stroudsburg on Sunday for a pair of pivotal conference matchups.
