Junior Jan Striewe headed home a corner from senior Colten Arnold in the 92nd minute Saturday to give the Raiders the Shippensburg University men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over East Stroudsburg in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup.
 
Shippensburg (2-0, 1-0 PSAC) and East Stroudsburg (0-1, 0-1) failed to score in the first half with ESU recording 12 shots while Shippensburg registered two. Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Garret Watson, recorded three saves in the first half.
 
The Raiders had a chance to win in regulation but missed a penalty kick in the 48th minute. 
 
Watson finished with seven saves to record his second shutout in as many matches for the Raiders.
 
Shippensburg will return to action at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Family.
