SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped an overtime heartbreaker Saturday to No. 12 West Chester, falling 2-1 to the Golden Rams on a sunny afternoon at David See Field.
Shippensburg (5-4, 3-4 PSAC) and No. 12 West Chester (8-0, 8-0) exchanged first-half chances but neither could breakthrough as they headed into halftime tied, 0-0.
West Chester broke the ice in the 67th minute with a goal from Lexi Brown off an assist from Carmen Telesco.

Casey Rightmyer to force overtime.
Shippensburg came up short in overtime after an unlucky bounce gave West Chester the 2-1 victory.

Shippensburg will return to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Bloomsburg in a PSAC matchup.
