SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's soccer team fell to West Chester in overtime, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) clash from David See Field.

West Chester (5-2-1, 4-1) got a golden goal from Colin Hester in the 99th minute to defeat the Raiders. Shippensburg trailed 1-0 at the half but found the equalizer when senior
Colten Arnold buried a free kick in the 48th minute to knot the score at one.
After Brian Schaefer gave West Chester a 2-1 advantage in the 70th minute, Striewe delivered his highlight-reel goal. Striewe's goal off the free kick marked the second time in the game that the Raiders had rallied from a one-goal deficit.
Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper
Garret Watson recorded five saves in the loss.
Shippensburg will return to action Wednesday at 4 p.m. on the road against West Virginia Wesleyan.
