SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University tennis team picked up a pair of victories Saturday as it topped Cheyney in two matches, 5-0 and 5-0, as one match counted in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and the other served as a nonconference tilt.
Shippensburg (3-7, 1-2 PSAC) played well all afternoon, with numerous members of the Raider roster winning matches. In doubles, the combinations of senior

Megan Moorhead both won 8-0 in the first match.

McKensi Washabaugh picked up an 8-2 doubles in the second match while freshman

Victoria Galanti won 8-0.
Gallagher also won a singles match in straight sets. Freshman
Sarah Lecher also won her singles match in two sets (6-1, 6-1).
The Raiders are back in action Wednesday when they travel to West Chester for a match beginning at 4 p.m.
