CLERMONT, Fla. – The Shippensburg University softball team took to the field for three games on Sunday, making it six games in two days for the Raiders, as SU capped off a busy weekend with a 7-1 victory over Ferris State in competition held at Hancock Park.

Shippensburg (4-8) started the day with a 5-2 loss to Charleston, followed by a 4-1 setback against Stonehill. The Raiders then rallied for a win over Ferris State – a team that had handed the Raiders an 11-6 loss just yesterday.

Senior
Taylor Pattillo was stellar at the plate on Sunday, going 5-for-11 in Sunday's three games. Pattillo smacked a two-run homer late in the win over Ferris State and finished the day with four RBIs and a double.

Sophomore
Maddie Mulhall was 3-for-3 with an RBI, a sacrifice and two runs scored in the victory over the Bulldogs. Also against Ferris State, sophomore catcher
Macy Luck had a hit, a walk, a sacrifice, two steals and a run scored.

Freshman
Taryn Wilson was stellar in the circle – throwing a complete game against Ferris State with 10 strikeouts. Wilson held Ferris State without a hit into the sixth inning, and came one out away of a shutout. She allowed just three hits and three walks in the win. Including three innings thrown against Stonehill, Wilson struck out 12 batters in 10 innings on the day, allowing just the one lone run in the final inning against Ferris State.

Sophomore
Chloe Collins threw a complete game against Charleston, allowing three earned runs in six innings. Collins walked one and struck out four. Junior
Casey Thompson threw three innings against Stonehill, recording one strikeout.

Shippensburg will have two days off before facing Winona State, Saginaw Valley and St. Cloud State on Wednesday back at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.
