The Shippensburg University lacrosse team went on the road Wednesday and dropped an 18-7 decision to No. 6 Lock Haven in a televised Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at Charlotte Smith Field.

Shippensburg (3-3, 0-2 PSAC) scored its most goals against Lock Haven (7-0, 2-0) since the 2013 season. Two Raiders had multiple tallies on the day, as both sophomore

Ally Frymoyer kept the Raiders in the game during the first half, making eight saves. She finished with a season-high 13 saves. Lock Haven out-shot the Raiders on the day, 37-16.

Tanisha Joseph also scored goals on the day. Barkley also had five draw controls, while Stone had two draw controls and two groundballs.

Annemarie Cericola had a strong start to the game defensively in the first half. Cericola finished with three caused turnovers and three groundballs.

Valerie Hertz continued her strong work along the back lines, recording a career-high three caused turnovers and matching a season high with five groundballs. Fellow freshman
Madi Newman had an assist, two caused turnovers and two groundballs.
