KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Junior Morgan Griffith hit a pair of free throws with 21 seconds remaining to tie her single-game career high of 27 points, as the Shippensburg University women's basketball team hit four free throws down the stretch to outlast Kutztown, 86-81, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game from Keystone Arena. Shippensburg (18-4, 14-4 PSAC) led for the majority of the contest, including by eight points with 5:34 to play, before Kutztown (8-13, 5-12) responded with a 9-0 run to take a one-point lead at the 2:26 mark. A Griffith lay-up began a 7-0 SU counter-run, with Kutztown getting as close as one point before the Raiders hit the clinching free throws.
