SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's basketball team endured a tough shooting night Wednesday in a 63-50 loss to visiting Millersville in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division game on Play 4 Kay night at Heiges Field House.

Wednesday's game was held in conjunction with the national "Play 4 Kay" initiative of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund — with the purpose of increasing breast cancer awareness and raising funds for research.
The WBCA Pink Zone was rebranded a few years ago as Play4Kay. The mission of the initiative, which was brought to life in 2007, remains intact: a nation of coaches raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond. The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is the official charity of the initiative.
Shippensburg will be back in action Saturday when it travels to Cheyney for a 1 p.m. start at Cope Hall.
