SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg men's basketball team defeated Edinboro, 105-73, to record its fourth straight victory and achieve its best start since the 2009-10 season. The Raiders had five different players score in double figures and shot an impressive 58 percent from the field.
Shippensburg (4-0, 2-0 PSAC) was led by freshman
John Castello and sophomore
Antonio Kellem. Castello had a career day, scoring 17 points while grabbing 13 rebounds to record his first career double-double. Kellem scored a career and game-high 25 points, including 6-of-7 from three-point range, while registering eight rebounds.
Three minutes into the game the Raiders used an 18-0 run to jump ahead of Edinboro (2-2, 0-2 PSAC) and ultimately never look back. Junior
Dustin Sleva recorded his fourth consecutive double-double, scoring 23 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Senior
Abe Massaley recorded 10 assists for the second consecutive day to go along with seven rebounds and five points.

Chris Nwandu were the other two Raiders to reach double figures, scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.
The Raiders shot a blistering 44 percent from three-point range and 75 percent from the charity stripe to score 105 points, marking the most points scored since January 28th 1995, in a 110-105 loss at Slippery Rock.
Shippensburg will return to action Monday, November 28 at 7 p.m. when it hosts Wilmington.
