SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's soccer team rallied to defeat Clarion, 2-1, on Senior Day at David See Field in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup and the final home game of the regular season for the Raiders.
Shippensburg (9-6, 7-6 PSAC) used two goals from freshman
Paige Harris in the final 15 minutes of regulation to secure the victory.
Clarion (2-12-2, 2-11-1) jumped ahead early with a goal in the 11th minute from Aaliyah Odom on an assist from Meliah Roman.
Shippensburg trailed for the first 75 minutes but found the equalizer in the 76th after Harris buried the rebound off a shot from sophomore
Tori Mills to tie the game at one.
The Raiders continued to pressure the Golden Eagles and took the lead after senior
Stephanie Allshouse delivered her free kick into the box where Harris would give the Raiders the lead for good with her second goal of the game.
Junior
Kayla Kennedy registered her second win of the season after relieving senior
Leah Roy at halftime.
Before the game, the team recognized its seniors: Allshouse,

Sharon Juarez,
Casey Rightmyer and
Ashley Weaver.
Shippensburg will return to action at 1:30 p.m. next Saturday at Mansfield.
