SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- The Shippensburg University volleyball team will holding its annual "Dig Pink" event on Saturday at Heiges Field House during its 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. matches.

The team will have donated themed baskets that will be auctioned off at the matches, with the proceeds going to the Side-Out Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness. The drawings will take place immediately following the conclusion of the 3 p.m. match between Cheyney and Ursuline. 

Fans can also make an online donation on behalf of SU Volleyball by accessing the link above. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink clothing if they are so inclined. 

Side-Out was established in 2004 as a non-profit organization emphasizing the role of volleyball coaches, players and advocates seeking to provide education about breast cancer and conduct fund-raising opportunities to help current patients.
