SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University wrestling team snapped a two-match losing streak to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) rival Millersville on Wednesday night by notching three pins and prevailing in 7-of-10 bouts to claim a 33-14 dual meet win over the Marauders from Heiges Field House.
Â
Shippensburg (7-5, 2-0 PSAC) began the night with a third-period pin by freshman
Dustin Steffenino, who was leading 11-5 in his bout before turning his opponent in the middle of the mat with 55 seconds remaining.
Â
Millersville (2-5, 0-3) took an 11-6 lead with a pin and a technical fall, but the Marauders would then drop the next six matches.
