The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Slippery Rock on Saturday in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup at James Egli Field.
Shippensburg (1-2-1, 1-2-1 PSAC) gave up a goal in the 10th minute and eventually yielded four tallies before the intermission. Slippery Rock (2-2, 1-1) out-shot the Raiders 25-9, including 15-4 in the first half, and had a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
Sophomore keeper
Leah Roy had to make eight saves in the first half and finished with nine in the contest. Roy made 15 saves between the two contests this weekend.
Shippensburg hosts Pitt-Johnstown at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a league match at David See Field.
