The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at No. 16 Edinboro on a sunny Friday afternoon at Sox Harrison Stadium, with the home-standing Fighting Scots scoring the only goal of the match in the 85th minute.
 
Shippensburg (1-1-1, 1-1-1 PSAC) managed just four shots in the contest, with its lone shot on goal coming in the second half.
 
Edinboro (3-0, 2-0) posted an 11-4 edge in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Ashley Mutkus netted her third goal of the season for the lone tally.  
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Leah Roy recorded six saves for Shippensburg in the loss.
 
The Raiders are right back in action tomorrow, facing Slippery Rock at 1 p.m.
