The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at No. 16 Edinboro on a sunny Friday afternoon at Sox Harrison Stadium, with the home-standing Fighting Scots scoring the only goal of the match in the 85th minute.
Shippensburg (1-1-1, 1-1-1 PSAC) managed just four shots in the contest, with its lone shot on goal coming in the second half.
Edinboro (3-0, 2-0) posted an 11-4 edge in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Ashley Mutkus netted her third goal of the season for the lone tally.
