The Shippensburg University tennis team defeated Cheyney twice on Friday, including once in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match, in competition at the Granite Run Tennis Club in Media, Pa.  
 
Shippensburg (4-3, 2-0 PSAC East) won all of the completed flights in both matches. SU won the first match, the PSAC East contest, 6-0, before also winning the second match by an 8-0 total score.
 
Shippensburg is scheduled to host West Chester at 4 p.m. Tuesday from the Robb Sports Complex Tennis Courts.
