Austin Allison had two RBIs as the Shippensburg University baseball team dropped a 12-4 decision at No. 28 Catawba.

Shippensburg (3-8) got a leadoff home run from Marcinko, but the home team countered with 10 runs in the first two innings. Senior

Marcinko finished the game 4-for-5 at the plate with three runs and a stolen base. Allison was 2-for-4; he was 6-for-8 on the day when including his four-hit effort against Wingate earlier in the afternoon.

Catawba (16-4) has now won 14 of its last 15 games. Catawba's Blake Houston, the reigning SAC Player of the Week, was 3-for-4 from the leadoff spot with a double, RBI, walk and two runs.
