SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- The Shippensburg University volleyball team will be hosting Senior Day and a "Dig Pink" event on Saturday at Heiges Field House during its 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. matches. Fans are encouraged to wear pink clothing and donations will be collected for the Side-Out Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness.

The team has donated themed baskets that will be auctioned off at the matches, with the proceeds again going to the Side-Out Foundation. The drawings will take place immediately following the second match of the day.

Senior Day will be held in advance of the 5:30 p.m. match with Chowan.

Side-Out was established in 2004 as a non-profit organization emphasizing the role of volleyball coaches, players and advocates seeking to provide education about breast cancer and conduct fund-raising opportunities to help current patients.
