The Shippensburg University field hockey team scored once in each half Tuesday and held host Slippery Rock without a shot as it earned a 2-0 conference road victory over The Rock on a sunny afternoon at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

The Raiders controlled the pace of play, holding Slippery Rock (3-4, 1-2) without a shot for 70 minutes. The Rock managed a lone corner in the first half but got four saves from goalkeeper Carlee DuMars and three defensive saves from their back line.

SU finished with a 10-0 margin in shots and a 12-1 margin in penalty corners.
