The No. 3 Shippensburg University field hockey team fell to No. 2 Millersville Friday, 2-0, in the 2014 PSAC Tournament Semifinals held on the campus of West Chester University.

Shippensburg (15-4, 11-3 PSAC) has now lost to Millersville (17-2, 12-2) in PSAC Tournament play in each of the last three seasons, including the championship game in 2013 and semifinals in 2012.

The Marauders out-shot the Raiders 6-0, and held a 4-1 edge in penalty corners. Their goals came in the ninth and 48th minutes, respectively.

Ally Mooney (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) registered two saves in the contest.

SU competed in its 14tth consecutive PSAC Tournament semifinal.
Shippensburg entered the weekend as the No. 3 seed in the South region, and will now await the NCAA Division II selection show on Nov. 23 at 1 p.m. on NCAA.com.
