Katelyn Grazan with 5:03 remaining in regulation Saturday helped the No. 3 Shippensburg University field hockey team stave off PSAC foe Mansfield, 2-1, from Karl Van Norman Field.

The Raiders (10-2, 7-2 PSAC) provided a steady attack, outshooting Mansfield (2-10, 2-8) 44-11 on the day, and held a 14-7 advantage in penalty corners, including an 8-2 edge in the second half.

SU scored the game's first goal in the 16th minute when freshman
Lauren Zengulis caged her first collegiate goal off a pass from freshman
Emily Barnard from about five yards out on the left side of the goal.

The Mountaineers answered in the 51st minute, capitalizing on a penalty corner with a goal from the top of the circle before Grazan scored the game-winning goal for the Raiders in the 65th minute.

Consistent offensive pressure allowed 11 different Raiders to attempt a shot on goal, including three from senior
Tori Ricker and freshman
Morgan Gantz, and five from Grazan and sophomore
Cassie Rawa.

Mansfield goalkeeper Laura Lawson made 21 saves and was aided by two defensive saves from Katie Lipski while SU's freshman goalkeeper
Ally Mooney tallied five saves.
