The Shippensburg University volleyball team suffered a straight-set loss to a high-attack Lock Haven squad on Friday afternoon in PSAC Eastern Division action from the Bald Eagles's Thomas Fieldhouse. Set scores were 20-25, 28-30 and 23-25.
With the top seed in the PSAC East already locked up, the Raiders (26-8, 17-4 PSAC) travel to Pitt-Johnstown tomorrow for their 1 p.m. regular-season finale against the Mountain Cats, who have clinched the East No. 2 seed.
SU will host a PSAC Quarterfinal on Tuesday against the fourth seed in the East, which will be the losing team in tomorrow's 4 p.m. game between Lock Haven and Millersville as both teams enter Saturday with identical 11-10 conference records. UPJ will host the winner – the No. 3 seed – in the East's other quarterfinal on Tuesday.
Lock Haven registered 131 attacks in the match, its most in a three-setter this season, while hitting .295 in the opening set. The Raiders nearly tied up the match in the second set but dropped a back-and-forth thriller, 28-30.

Jill Edwards led all players with 16 kills on 52 attacks and fell one dig shy of a double-double.
