The Shippensburg University volleyball team swept PSAC East competitor Cheyney on Friday night by set scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-12 from the Wolves's Cope Hall.

Freshman Maria Peluso led the Raiders (21-7, 13-3 PSAC East) with nine kills and 11 digs while freshman Annie Goerl totaled eight kills to zero errors and a block assist.

Freshman Rebecca Pryor added six kills and three block assists while sophomore Laura Plank recorded three service aces and 10 digs.

Shippensburg travels a short way to West Chester for a 1 p.m. match tomorrow afternoon.
