The Shippensburg University women's volleyball team finished its first PSAC crossover weekend of the season with a straight-set loss to Gannon and a five-set defeat to Edinboro from East Stroudsburg's Koehler Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon. Set scores were 16-25, 15-25 and 24-26 vs. the Golden Knights and 19-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-18 and 15-17 vs. the Fighting Scots.
The Raiders (10-5, 1-2 PSAC) received 21 kills from junior
Jill Edwards and 13 from senior
Erin Flick on the afternoon, while senior
Andrea Heimsoth posted 58 total assists.
The Raiders return home on Tuesday afternoon for a 7 p.m. matchup with Millersville from Heiges Field House.
Gannon 3, Shippensburg 0
The Golden Knights' (11-2, 3-0 PSAC) Lauren Sazama and Morgan Reineke combined for 27 kills as Shippensburg was held to 16 or fewer points in each of the first two sets.
Jill Edwards posted seven kills while Flick had six and led SU with three total blocks. Senior

Taylor Gottshall hit .429. Heimsoth led the Raiders with both 23 assists and 12 digs.
Edinboro 3, Shippensburg 2
The Raiders alternated sets with the Fighting Scots (4-11, 1-2 PSAC) and dropped a tight 17-15 decision in the final set.
Jill Edwards led SU with 14 kills while Flick added seven to go along with four service aces. Heimsoth contributed 35 assists and was one of three Raiders to total double-digit digs (11), in addition to
