KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shippensburg University women's tennis team started PSAC Eastern Division play on Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 loss to the Golden Bears of Kutztown.

Junior Cassie Sidone had a valiant battle at No. 3 singles, nearly coming away with the first set, but ultimately falling to Rachel Grula, 7-5, 6-2.

Sophomore Daniela Delgado picked up three points at No. 5 singles but fell 6-1, 6-2. Fellow sophomore Hannah Wolfe won two points in each of her sets at No. 6 singles.

Shippensburg will host Cheyney at 4:30 p.m. Friday from the Robb Sports Complex tennis courts.
