Shippensburg University Athletics

2011-12 (Junior): Finished her third season with the team with a 2-10 overall record including a 1-3 mark in conference play…went 2-3 at No. 5 singles…played four matches at No. 4 singles as well…also made appearances at No. 3 and No. 6 singles…earned a victory in three tight sets against Georgian Court, winning 7-5, 2-6, 7-5…also won 6-0, 6-0 against Cheyney…played in three matches at No. 3 doubles.

2010-11 (Sophomore): Ended second season with a 1-13 overall record and 1-5 record in conference play…primary flight was No. 5 singles…earned 6-0, 6-0 victory over Cheyney…also made appearances at the No. 3, 4 and 6 singles flights.

2009-10 (Freshman): Finished with a record of 0-1 overall at No. 6 singles…saw action at No. 3 doubles, teaming up with Cassie Sidone and Lisa Snader in separate matches…finished 0-2 overall in doubles.

Pequea Valley High School: Earned three varsity letters under coach Ben Halverson…also competed in softball for two seasons…graduated cum laude as a member of the National Honors Society.

Personal: Full name is Laura Beth Babetski…is the daughter of Gene and Suzanne Babetski…majoring in communication journalism…has a brother, Andrew.
