The Shippensburg University women's swimming team was credited with wins in seven events on Saturday as it returned to the pool less than 24 hours after its dual meet with IUP yet still earned a convincing 112-67 dual meet victory on the road over the Fighting Falcons of Fairmont State.

Carolyn Meier opened the meet with a solid victory in 1:54.29. The four women switched up the order and also swam the 200-yard freestyle relay, finishing in 1:41.11.
Brown and Sargent were among five individual event winners for the Raiders on Saturday, with Brown claiming the 200-yard IM victory in 2:19.22 and Sargent winning the 100-yard butterfly in 1:02.68.
Junior
Colleen Stiles won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:04.07, junior
Sarah Hanson won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.29 and sophomore
Tara Yohe claimed the 500-yard freestyle in 5:27.69.
Shippensburg has its next competition in two weeks, Nov. 15-17, at George Mason University's Patriot Invitational.
