2012-13 (Junior): Posted her third career individual PSAC place-winning performance in her third year as a Raider…finished 12th in the 200 backstroke at the conference championships…represented the Raiders in the 200 and 1,000 freestyle events at the conference championships, establishing new personal bests in both swims…set a new personal best in the 500 freestyle at the Patriot Invitational.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Continued to work as a backstroke and distance freestyle swimmer for the Raiders in her second season…improved her PR in the 100 backstroke, ranking second among SU swimmers in the event for the season…served as the team’s third fastest miler and also the third fastest among Raiders in the 200 backstroke.
2010-11 (Freshman): Delivered a steady season as a rookie with the Raiders…scored twice at the conference meet…reached the finals of the 200-yard backstroke and placed eighth…her qualifying time of 2:07.16 was the fastest time of the season for Shippensburg in the event and is the third fastest in school history…placed 10th in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:49.61 that ranks eighth in school history…established her strong pace for the season with several PRs at the Patriot Invitational.
North Penn High School: Totaled four varsity letters as a swimmer for the Maidens under coach Matthew Wieser…earned All-League and All-District honors as a junior and a senior…her specialty events were distance freestyle and backstroke…also earned three letters competing in water polo.
Personal: Full name is Colleen Michelle Stiles…is the daughter of Roy and Heidi Stiles…majoring in early childhood elementary education for kindergarten through grade 4...has a sister, Emily…both of her parents were All-American swimmers at SU.
