ERIE, Pa. - The Shippensburg University volleyball team dropped another tough match on Friday night from the Mercyhurst Athletic Center, opening PSAC crossover play with a 3-2 loss to the Lakers. It is the third consecutive match that the Raiders have lost in five sets.

Set scores were 22-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-5.

Shippensburg (3-7) hit over .300 in the first set and had 12 more kills in the second set to build its lead. Sophomore Jill Edwards was credited with 18 kills and 18 digs for her second consecutive double-double. Junior Jenny Pry added nine kills while senior Libby Woffindin# contributed seven kills and three blocks.

The Raiders head to Edinboro on Saturday to face Gannon at 12:30 p.m. and the host Fighting Scots at 6 p.m.
