BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University tennis team dropped a pair of PSAC Eastern Division matches on Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg – dropping a 9-0 neutral-site decision to East Stroudsburg and a 9-0 decision to the host Huskies.

In the opener against the Warriors, sophomore Cassie Sidone played well at No. 4 singles but dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision.

Against Bloomsburg, freshman Daniela Delgado had an epic battle at No. 6 singles. Delgado won the first set, 7-5, but dropped the second set 6-2 and ultimately the tiebreaker, 10-6.

Shippensburg concludes the 2011 regular season at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday against Millersville. It will be the final home match for seniors Monica Berardi, Jess Lodek and Hannah Lolley.
