KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Shippensburg University tennis team opened PSAC Eastern Division play on Tuesday afternoon with a 6-3 loss at Kutztown. Freshman Daniela Delgado won her match at No. 5 singles - 7-5, 6-1 – and also SU earned victories at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.

Senior Hannah Lolley competed very well in her match at No. 1 singles but dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision. The same could be said for sophomore Cassie Sidone, who dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles. The duo also dropped an 8-2 decision at No. 1 doubles.

On Friday, Shippensburg will travel to face Cheyney in a match held at West Chester.
