LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Shippensburg University volleyball team, the No. 4 seed in the PSAC Eastern Division, will travel to face East No. 1 seed Lock Haven on Tuesday night in a PSAC Quarterfinal from Thomas Fieldhouse. It will be the second meeting between the two teams in four days.

Tickets to the PSAC quarterfinal will be sold at the gym. No advance sale of tickets is available. Prices are $7 for adults and $2 for students/children. Free admission is available to students from PSAC member institutions with a valid school identification card. Conference passes will be accepted. No complimentary tickets are available.

Shippensburg (15-20, 8-11 PSAC) will be competing in the PSAC Tournament for the fifth straight year and the sixth time in eight seasons under head coach Leanne Piscotty. SU has reached the PSAC Tournament 21 times in its 32-year history but is still seeking its first conference championship. The Raiders are 3-1 in PSAC quarterfinal matches under Piscotty, with last year being the first loss of the four matches.

Lock Haven (18-8, 15-4 PSAC) has won both meetings this season between the two teams. The Bald Eagles earned a 3-1 victory at Shippensburg on Oct. 14 (22-25, 16-25, 26-24, 19-25) and a 3-0 victory at Lock Haven on Saturday (20-25, 18-25, 15-25). SU is the only PSAC Eastern Division team to take a set from Lock Haven this season.

Last season, the teams each won a five-set match on their respective home floor.
