SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University men's basketball team was unable to keep up with No. 19 Indiana (Pa.) on Sunday afternoon, falling 80-64 in the second of the Raiders' two PSAC home games this weekend.

SU (0-4, 0-2 PSAC) had three players scores in double figures, but couldn't keep up with the efficient offense of the Crimson Hawks (4-0, 2-0), which had two different players score 20 or more points.

Freshman Sam Pygatt scored 15 points off the bench on 5-of-8 shooting while going 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Senior Will Royal, meanwhile, went 4-of-8 from the field and finished with 11 points to go along with a team-high eight rebounds.

Senior Dane Lauber had his second double figure scoring game off the bench this season, finishing with 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Freshman Reggie Charles had a team-high four assists.

SU returns to action on Tuesday from Heiges Field House with a 7 p.m. matchup against Central Penn.

In an effort to help local families in need for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, the men's basketball team is sponsoring its 11th annual "Food for the Hungry Game" on Tuesday, November 22 when the Red Raiders host Central Penn at 7 p.m. from Heiges Field House.

The Red Raiders will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable items prior to the game and all fans that bring a food item to donate at the game will receive free admission. Tables will be set up at both entrances to the facility. The donations will then be given to the local families in need.

For more information about donating food to the cause, contact Shippensburg head coach Dave Springer at 717-477-1449.
