GREENSBURG, Pa. – Seven different Lady Raiders scored goals on the road Saturday afternoon as the No. 2-ranked Shippensburg University field hockey team continued to show its dominance by defeating Seton Hill, 7-1.
Shippensburg (3-0) totaled six goals in the first half with the scoring beginning off the stick of sophomore
Ashley Taylor, who netted her second goal of the season just 1:01 into the contest.
Seton Hill (5-1) answered a few minutes later as Allison Crawford scored to tie the game at 1-1. SU's defense maintained composure by allowing just two other shots in the half.

Late in the first period, SU shut the door as sophomore

Amanda Strous each scored to give the Lady Raiders their 6-1 lead heading into the second period. In the second half, sophomore
Taylor Jones added a goal of her own to bring the final score to 7-1.

Alyssa Stefanadis guarded the cage in the second half. Delost earned the victory and made three saves.
The Lady Raiders controlled the pace of the game once again as they out-shot Seton Hill 16-3 in the first half and 24-6 overall.
Shippensburg returns to action next Saturday when they travel to Kutztown to take on the Golden Bears. The game is set for an 11 a.m. start.
