MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - A second-half penalty stroke by freshman Bre White proved to be the difference on a chilly Saturday afternoon from Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium as Shippensburg earned its 18th straight victory of the season with a 3-2 victory over Millersville.

Shippensburg (18-0) erased an early 1-0 deficit in the first half with goals by juniors Katie Pufnock and Kristina Taylor. The second goal came off a penalty corner chance with an assist to sophomore Jamie Levy. Sophomore Ashley Taylor assisted on the first goal.

With the score tied 2-2 at the 53:30 mark, White converted a penalty stroke that ultimately held up for the win.

Sophomore goalkeeper Ciarra Delost made four saves in the victory.

Shippensburg will host its final home game of the regular season at 4 p.m. Tuesday against Kutztown.
