SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg University will host the 2010 PSAC Men's Soccer Championship match at 6 p.m. Saturday from David See Field. The Red Raiders are seeking their first conference title since 1975 and third in history while East Stroudsburg is seeking its 20th conference title.
Tickets to the PSAC championship matchup will be sold at the gate. No advance sale of tickets is available. Prices are $7 for adults and $2 for students/children. Free admission is available to students from PSAC member institutions with valid school I.D. Conference passes will be accepted. No complimentary tickets are available.

Shippensburg has won a school-record 11 consecutive matches. SU has not lost since a 4-1 loss to Slippery Rock on September 25, the second game of a back-to-back set on the road.
Senior
Miles Harriger has paced the team with 11 goals this season. Other than All-American Geoff Bloes, Harriger is the first Red Raider to achieve a double-digit goal total since Andy Jennings in 2004. During the team's epic 11-game winning streak, Harriger has fired 11 shots on goal, totaling seven goals and six assists. Five of his goals have been game winners.
Sophomore
Clay Sale has recorded 11 victories in net this season - posting a 1.38 goals-against average and five shutouts. During the streak, Sale has made 43 saves and posted a 1.10 goals-against average.
Senior
Dave Rostad is one of the team's captains along with Harriger and
Jeremy Taylor. Rostad wears No. 11. He ranks third on the team with seven goals and five assists this season, including one of each in the PSAC semifinal victory over Slippery Rock. He has appeared in nine of SU's 11 wins during the run and scored six times, including three game winners.
Broken Records:
Shippensburg set a new school record for goals in a season on Wednesday night; having totaled 49 through 19 matches. The 1989 team scored 48 goals in 18 matches and the 2007 team scored 48 goals in 20 matches.

Shippensburg is 9-43-1 in the all-time series against East Stroudsburg. SU won the previous matchup this season, 1-0, at David See Field. The victory was SU's first over the Warriors since 2002 and just the fourth time in 34 attempts that the team has defeated 29th-year ESU head coach Jerry Sheska.
Shippensburg is 1-1 in the PSAC Tournament against East Stroudsburg. ESU won 1-0 in 1990. SU won 1-0 in 1988 – the last year that the Red Raiders reached the conference finals.
Shippensburg was picked 10th in the preseason coaches poll. There are only 10 PSAC institutions that sponsor men's soccer.
Shippensburg has scored 49 goals in 2010. The program combined for just 23 goals in the previous two seasons, including a total of 10 in 2008.

Sale made a season-high nine saves in the 5-0 victory over The Rock on Wednesday to help Shippensburg earn its seventh shutout of the season. The single-season school record for shutouts is nine, set in 1987.
