SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University volleyball program will be hosting a “Dig Pink” event this Saturday at Heiges Field House for its tri-match featuring West Chester and Glenville State. Proceeds will be sought to help the fight against breast cancer.

The program is looking for "team donations" where willing contributors would pledge dollar(s) per dig recorded by teams in their respective matches. Additional donations will be collected, with all contributions going toward the American Cancer Society.

Shippensburg hosts West Chester in a PSAC Eastern Division match at 1 p.m. before the Golden Rams take on Glenville State in a neutral-site match at 3 p.m. SU closes out the day facing the Pioneers at 5 p.m. Before the final match, a poem will be read aloud to the audience.
