NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - Former Red Raider soccer standout Geoff Bloes '07 scored the game-winning goal for the Harrisburg City Islanders against Major League Soccer's New England Revolution on Tuesday night during the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Bloes scored off a corner kick in the 105th minute of play. The City Islanders originally trailed 1-0 before a goal by Mo Oduor tied the score. Harrisburg advances to take on D.C. United, another MLS squad, on Tuesday, July 7.
