SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 16 Kutztown on Saturday night amidst copious amounts of precipitation and chilly temperatures from David See Field. The loss keeps the Lady Raiders in fifth place in the PSAC East with four divisional contests remaining on the schedule.

Shippensburg (5-7-2, 2-4-2 PSAC East) are three points behind fourth-place Bloomsburg with one game in hand. On Saturday night, the Lady Raiders fell behind in the 15th minute and could not get any offensive momentum. Graduate goalkeeper Beth Long made six saves in the loss.

The Lady Raiders return to action at 5 p.m. Tuesday with a PSAC Eastern Division match at East Stroudsburg.
