SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg University volleyball team dropped a hard-fought five-set game on Tuesday night at Heiges Field House to the visiting Golden Rams of West Chester. The highly contested game featured set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 12-15.
Shippensburg (11-10, 3-3 PSAC East) was led offensively by junior
Kali Antolik, who totaled a team single game-high for the season with 20 kills on just three errors along with a block solo and two block assists. Junior
Hannah Sorber added a season-best 15 kills and five block assists, while freshman
Katie Leitner delivered eight kills.
West Chester (14-3, 5-1 PSAC East) was tied with Shippensburg 9-9 in the fifth set, but following a timeout the Golden Rams out-scored the Lady Raiders 6-3 to earn the victory. The visitors had raced out to a 2-1 lead before Shippensburg fought back to win the fourth set.

Kelsi Hoffman added 17 digs. Senior setter
Maureen DuVall posted a season-high 47 assists.
On Friday, Shippensburg will travel to Edinboro to compete in the PSAC Crossover tournament. The Lady Raiders will take on Clarion and Edinboro on Friday.
