SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - The Shippensburg Volleyball team defeated Kutztown in a PSAC East matchup on Thursday evening inside Heiges Field House 3-1. The win is Shippensburg's eighth in their last nine matches.

The Lady Raiders dropped the first game 24-26, but took the next three by scores of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-19. Junior Hannah Sorber had 19 kills, one block and two block assists while junior Colleen Toomey added 15 kills.

Defensively, senior libero Kelsi Hoffman tallied 22 digs and three service aces while senior Karey Toms added 20 digs.

Shippensburg (10-6, 3-1 PSAC) returns to action on Tuesday, September 23 when they visit East Stroudsburg for a PSAC Crossover contest. Gametime is 7 P.M.
