Lady Raiders Close Out Regular Season With 3-1 Road Victory At West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Pa. –
In a preview of Tuesday's PSAC Eastern Division Volleyball quarterfinal, the Lady Raider volleyball team earned a 3-1 victory over the Golden Rams of West Chester to close out the regular season. Set scores were 25-23, 22-25, 25-18 and 25-23.

Junior outside hitter Colleen Toomey, who just two weeks ago became the fourth player in school history to reach 1,000 career kills with a double-double against Charleston, recorded another double-double with 15 kills and 10 digs against the Golden Rams.

The Lady Raiders hit extremely well in the contest. Junior Hannah Sorber ripped 14 kills and totaled two block assists while senior libero Kelsi Hoffman totaled 25 digs. Senior setter Maureen DuVall racked up 50 assists and 14 digs with four kills and two service aces, while junior Kali Antolik totaled 10 kills on just two errors.

Shippensburg, the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Division, will travel to West Chester, the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Division, for a 7 p.m. matchup from Hollinger Field House. There will be no complimentary tickets to the PSAC Tournament games, but official cost of admission is unknown at this time.
